The club has strengthened with additions such as Georgian national team goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili and Italian-born striker Federico Chiesa. 

The two clubs face each other quite regularly - interestingly, in the last 5 meetings, the English side has won quite convincingly (4:1 in 2022)!
